Posted by andy on Sep 1, '08 12:49 AM for everyone | | Is about eating again, if u really read all my post, i believed that u will found that i like to eat... (no wonder i grow fat so much) this time, I bring you some food from Batu Pahat and Lukut, Port Dickson. I heard that there is a very nice "pao" at Lukut, but when i arrived there, the pao was sold out, so, i try some other thing and see the quality of the food.... Yes, is the "Luo Mai Kai" in this post... is a worth of trying.. for those who are planning to go PD, drop by at Lukut and visit this old restaurant call Chung Kee opposite the police station. Dun let the outlook of this shop lie to u... it might look old but the food and drink there are nice... and if you want to try the pau, try to visit them around 12pm to 1pm, as they only make about 100 to 150pcs per day and it is selling fast. believed me... i was there on 2.30pm, all they got left was only the Luo Mai Kai. That mean, i haven try the pao yet... How i know it is nice? someone told me ofcos... hahaha
Sui Kee got 2 outlet in Batu Pahat, it was a soup specialize shop in Batu Pahat, beside soup, they served Asam fish head too. I like the frog soup and pork rib soup especially. Here there are 2 option of rice, 1 which is plain white rice and the 2nd 1 is yam rice... This 1st Sui Kee was at BP town. ask anyone, they will show you how to get there, the second 1 which is newly open few month ago, was located nearby to Carrefour BP. found Carrefour, you will see Sui Kee further up toward Bukit Pasir. |

Posted by andy on May 2, '08 3:29 AM for everyone | | Alright... this is the most famous soya bean drink shop in Batu Pahat. But i was so surprise that there are local people that dunno about it. How would you call it the most famouse if its like this. Maybe it is because it was located in a hidden place. Without the local people bringing us there, we wont know about this place either. I personally think the Soya and the Yau Char Guai is the best in the house. Beside this, there are a lots more food such as Dim Sum, Pao, Noodle and etc. Most of the food here are mainly Taiwanese style. The price are ok too. is worth to rekon it to others.. Try it to know more. |
